After a string of semi-crappy improv shows, The Diplomat Motel came through. We were energetic, and playful, and supportive. Lately we have been working too hard on stage, plodding along through scenes like it's a minimum wage job at the worst car wash ever. Tonight it was effortless, and we all enjoyed ourselves. I am usually Mr. Critical after bad shows, and Mr. Modest after good ones, but we were funny. Even Young, a known Mr. Surly even after a pretty good show, had a huge smile on his face.
And Schlitz is back in bottles, people. Spread the word.
