My parents, grandma, and my sister's boyfriend's mother came into the city to have Mother's Day dinner with us. It was great to see everyone.
I was pleased with Trattoria Trullo in Lincoln Square. Unlike everybody else in the world, I am not a huge fan of Italian food. I think it's fine, but other choices usually trump Italy when it comes to mealtime decisions. This place was good, and reasonably priced, and became a viable dining option for trips into the Lincoln Squarea.
And as much as I want to believe this is a trick of perspective, I'm afraid my skull is at least twice the size of my mother's.
